Why Is My Suspension So Bouncy?

When we think of preventative maintenance, we think of Oil Change, Fluids, and Brakes. We don’t think of Shocks or Struts. Replacing Shocks and Struts will not only maintain an even comfortable ride but will also increase the longevity of Tire wear. A bad Suspension will cause faster wear on your Tires. If you drive off-road, carry heavy loads or put a lot of mileage on poor driving surfaces, your shocks or struts will wear out more quickly. Other reasons a Car Suspension is Bouncy could be a Bad Wheel Alignment, Loose or Damaged Ball Joints, or a Loose Steering Linkage. As soon as you notice a change in the smoothness of your ride, have a Mechanic check the Suspension. It may be time to get it replaced.
